IBM SPSS Statistics is available for macOS, but before downloading the 30-day trial, you should check whether your MacBook Pro meets the system requirements.

Operating System: macOS Monterey (12), Ventura (13), or later
Processor: Intel or Apple M1/M2/M3 (with Rosetta 2 support)
RAM: Minimum 4GB, recommended 8GB or more
Storage: At least 4GB of free space
Java: Pre-installed with SPSS

How to Download & Install IBM SPSS Statistics (30-day Trial) on MacBook Pro

  1. Go to IBM’s Official Website:
  2. Create an IBM Account:
    • If you don’t have one, sign up for a free IBM ID.
  3. Select macOS Version & Download the Installer.
  4. Install SPSS on Your MacBook Pro:
    • Open the downloaded .dmg file.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to install.
    • If using an Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3) Mac, enable Rosetta 2 when prompted.
  5. Activate the Trial:
    • Launch IBM SPSS and sign in with your IBM account.

Important Notes for macOS Users

🔹 Apple Silicon Macs (M1/M2/M3): IBM SPSS requires Rosetta 2 to run properly. Install it if prompted.
🔹 macOS Compatibility Issues: Some older SPSS versions might not work on macOS Sonoma (14). Ensure you download the latest version from IBM.
🔹 Trial Limitation: The trial lasts 30 days, after which you’ll need a license to continue using SPSS.
